Missed-call text-back · Pro & Scale
Can't pick up? The caller gets a text in seconds.
Most people don't leave a voicemail. They hang up and call the next name on the list. Now every call you miss gets one short text from your business asking what they need, and their reply comes straight to your phone.

How it works
Three steps. You keep your number.
No new phone, no app to keep open. Calls you answer ring exactly like they do now.
Turn on call forwarding.
We set up a number that receives your forwarded calls. You dial one short code from your phone so only the calls you don't pick up get forwarded.
The caller gets one text.
Within seconds of the call ringing out, they get a short text from your business asking what they need. One text, not a string of them.
Their reply comes to your phone.
It's forwarded to your cell. Text back like you normally would, and it goes out from your business number.
Run the business off your personal cell? It's built for that.
Plenty of owners use one phone for everything. Personal-cell mode sends a casual, first-person text that sounds like you, not a call center. And the people who call you for other reasons never get it.

Questions
Straight answers.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number. Your carrier only forwards the calls you don't answer, and the ones you do answer ring like normal.
Will it keep texting the caller?
No. Each missed call gets one text. After that it's a normal conversation between you and the customer. Our automatic follow-ups go out by email, not text.
Will my mom get a text if I miss her call?
Not if she's on your never-text list. Numbers on that list get no text, and you get no alert.
Can it run only after hours?
Yes. Pick day and night, or only when you're closed. Outside the hours you choose, no text goes out.
Where do the replies go?
To your phone. Text back from your cell as you normally would, and the customer sees your business number.
Is the texting compliant?
Yes. Texts go out from a registered number, and STOP and HELP replies are handled automatically.
Which plans include it?
Pro and Scale. It isn't included on Essential. Compare plans.
